The Hill Collection: Holdings of the LSU Libraries
The Hill Collection debuted in 2008 with the publication of A Summer of Birds: John James Audubon at Oakley House, by Danny Heitman, and Andrew D. Lytle’s Baton Rouge: Photographs, 1863–1910, edited by Mark E. Martin. The series brings together the rich archival resources of LSU’s Hill Memorial Library and the publishing expertise and vision of LSU Press to make available for wider public enjoyment and education the vast and varied holdings of the library. To qualify for the series, a book should make significant use of and offer new insight into an article owned by the library.
