Constance Merritt, author of Blessings and Inclemencies, has been selected as a finalist for the Annual Library of Viriginia Literary Award. The award will be announced on October 18 at a gala event at the Library of Virginia in Richmond. Fellow LSU Press author, R.T. Smith, is also a finalist for his recent book of poems, Outlaw Style, published by the University of Arkansas Press.
