The marketing intern assists in generating awareness and interest of LSU Press’s award-winning list of trade and academic books. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in customer service, and an interest in public relations, advertising, and sales. This six-month internship requires a minimum of two to three days a week for increments of three to four hours. Additional time can be earned off site. The internship is unpaid, but hours are flexible and portions of the workload can be suited to interest. This position provides valuable experience in the rapidly changing world of publishing and grants interns access to industry and media contacts across the country.
