A Summer of Birds, a Louisiana Public Broadcasting
documentary based on the LSU Press book of the same name by Danny Heitman,
premieres Wednesday, December 2nd at 7 p.m. on LPB. The documentary
chronicles a pivotal season that John James Audubon spent in Louisiana.
For those outside Louisiana, the documentary will be
simulcast on the LPB website.
After the premiere, LPB will sell DVD copies of the
documentary through its website. The show re-airs Sunday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m.
and 7 p.m.
