Holzer wins National Humanities Medal

Lincoln scholar Howard Holzer was awarded the National Humanities Medal at a recent White House ceremony.  Holzer is the author and editor of many books including The Emancipation Proclamation: Three Views. He is also a co-editor for the forthcoming The Lincoln Assassination Conspirators: Their Confinement and Execution, as Recorded in the Letterbook of John Frederick Hartranft (LSU Press, March 2009).
